Where can I buy legal weed in NJ when sales begin Thursday?

After years of waiting, legal recreational cannabis sales will begin Thursday at locations across New Jersey.

So where can you buy it on the first day?

Here’s what we know so far.

Of the seven alternative treatment centers (which currently sell medical marijuana) approved to begin adult recreational cannabis sales by the Cannabis Regulatory Commission, six have confirmed they plan to begin selling at 10 stores on Thursday.

* Verano, under the Zen Leaf banner, at its locations in in Elizabeth and Lawrence.

* Acreage, at The Botanist Williamstown and The Botanist Egg Harbor.

* Ascend, at its Rochelle Park facility.

* Green Thumb, which uses the RISE banner, at RISE Bloomfield and RISE Paterson starting at 6 a.m.

* Curaleaf, at Bellmawr and Edgewater Park.

* TerrAscend, which uses the Apothecarium banner, at its location in Phillipsburg.
